A report of a possible earthquake felt in Clermont County was made by several residents in the Amelia community shortly after noon Saturday, Nov. 10.

The USGS (U.S. Geological Survey) said an eastern Kentucky earthquake that measured 4.3 on the Richter scale could be felt in Cincinnati and southern Ohio at approximately 12:08 p.m. Saturday.

There were no immediate reports of damages.

Former Hillsboro and current Amelia resident Brian Perkins said the quake could be felt in Clermont County. He said local TV news departments said there were calls reporting the tremor.
