Duncan to run for Highland County Commissioner

Jeff Duncan has announced his candidacy for Highland County Commissioner on the Republican ticket.

Duncan joined his parents, Joe and Pat, in the operation of the family farm near Leesburg 40 years ago. He currently serves as a Penn Township Trustee, a director for US Bank, a member of the Republican Central Committee and a member of the Clinton-Highland Joint Fire District Board.

Using his farming background, Duncan serves on the Board of Supervisors for the Highland County Soil and Water Conservation District. He is also president of the ownership group at Five Points Implement Company.

Duncan and his wife, Lydia, have been married for 34 years and have three children, Grace Miller (Nathan), Elizabeth McNeal (Jason) and Scott Duncan (Sarah). Duncan and his wife are members of Leesburg United Methodist Church, and he is currently on the church leadership team.

Duncan feels that his farming, business and government leadership experiences equip him to effectively serve the citizens of Highland County in the Commissioners' Office.
