Dr. Vishal Patel joins Adena Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep Associates

Adena Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep Associates welcomes Vishal Patel, M.D. Dr. Patel, a pulmonologist, specializes in the treatment of lung disease and conditions, including: lung cancer, COPD, asthma, chronic bronchitis, and sleep apnea.

Dr. Patel earned his Medical Degree at Sardar Patel University in India, and performed his residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He also performed fellowships in Research and Pulmonary Critical Care at the facility. Most recently, he completed a Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians; the American Thoracic Society; the Society of Critical Care Medicine: the American Academy of Sleep Medicine; and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Patel has decided to practice in south central Ohio because he and his family like the area; and it allows them to be closer to family members living in Columbus, Detroit and Chicago.
