District 9 crews complete operations, return to county facilities

By
-

Following the latest round of winter weather, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation - District 9 have completed snow and ice operations and returned to their respective garages.

District 9 crews worked during the overnight to plow and treat the state highways, and they are now reporting pavement to be clear and wet. Although roads are clear and salt has been applied, motorists should continue exercising caution. Pavement that is clear and wet could still be slick, and ice can form quickly and without warning.

Drivers are advised to pay special attention when traveling over bridges and in curves and that when driving in ice and snow, take it slow!

District 9 includes Adams, Brown, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross and Scioto counties.
