Community invited to congratulate retiring HPD officer Capt. Kenneth Cumberland

The community is invited in the celebration of the career and retirement of longtime Hillsboro police officer Capt. Wilbert Kenneth Cumberland at a special ceremony on Friday, Nov. 16 from 3-6 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 133 E. Walnut St., Hillsboro.

Honors for Capt. Cumberland will be presented at 4 p.m., as he is retiring with distinction and dedication from the Hillsboro Police Department after 38 years of service.

Refreshments will be served.

A time to look back with admiration.

A time to look forward with anticipation.
