Cardiologist Dr. Christopher Wright joins Clinton Memorial Hospital medical staff
Invasive cardiologist Dr. Christopher Wright, a native of Hillsboro, is joining the Clinton Memorial Hospital Medical Staff, enabling CMH to expand local outpatient cardiology access as well as specialty cardiac services performed in the hospital.
Dr. Wright will practice with The Christ Hospital Physicians—Ohio Heart & Vascular in the CMH Professional Building, Suite 300, 630 W. Main St., Wilmington, beginning in March. Inquiries or appointments can be made by calling 937.382.2785.
Dr. Wright’s physician colleagues at Ohio Heart, including Dr. Joe Choo, will eventually move into an expanded location on the second floor of the CMH Professional Building.
His presence will allow CMH to provide inpatient care previously unavailable in the area, including complex diagnostic services, pacemaker implantations and cardiac catheterizations – an extremely helpful procedure in the evaluation of heart blockages in patients with heart disease.

Dr. Wright, who is relocating from Arizona, has special interest in invasive cardiology.
Dr. Wright has been with Pioneer Cardiovascular Consultants in Tempe, Ariz. since 2010 and was with Accredited Cardiology of Arizona from 2008 to 2010. He practiced in Greater Cincinnati prior to that with Greater Cincinnati Cardiovascular Consultants and Northern Kentucky Heart.
Dr. Wright received his bachelor’s of science degree in natural science magna cum laude from Xavier University, where he also minored in business. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
He did a fellowship in cardiology at the Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, Gil Heart Institute, University of Kentucky, Lexington, and an internship and residency in categorical internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, Veteran’s Administration of Cincinnati. Dr. Wright received his master’s degree in business administration at Aspen University, Denver.
Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Wright is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and is certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Wright has also taught at the post-college level.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiologists, the American Medical Association, the Society for Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, the American College of Physician Executives and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
