Brown-131 culvert replacement wraps up

A culvert replacement project on state Route 131 in Brown County has been completed, and the route is now open to traffic.

Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Brown County facility closed the route earlier today, June 12, to replace a deteriorated pipe at the 1.65-mile marker, which is between Lorelei Drive and U.S. 50 at Vera Cruz.

Work was completed on schedule, and the route was reopened shortly before 3 p.m. today.
