Appalachian Gateway Development welcomes Christine Durst Oct. 22

Appalachian Gateway Development has announced that it is hosting Christine Durst, an internationally respected work-at-home job expert and best-selling author for the first "Home-Based Career Workshop" to be held on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the new Southern State Community College Brown County Campus in Mt. Orab.

Durst appears regularly on such programs as "CNN Newsroom," "Good Morning America," "The Today Show" and publications including Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes and other major media.

Not only will Durst cover how and where to find legitimate home-based work opportunities, she will also cover the pros and cons of home-based work, scams and how to spot and avoid them, telework-friendly companies, and so much more.

"Workforce professionals, economic development directors, commissioners, village officials, etc., are also encouraged to attend to learn how this industry can put many people back to work," said Joel Pierre of Appalachian Gateway Development.

"Durst has already helped over 25,000 people find and succeed in telework positions and she can help us right here in Ohio."

Everyone will leave the workshop with all of the resources they need to get employed or help someone find employment in a telework position.

Durst is co-founder and principal of Staffcentrix, LLC, the company which owns and manages RatRaceRebellion.com. Founded in 1999, Staffcentrix is a training firm that provides virtual-careers training and resources to the U.S. Department of State, Air Force, Army and other clients.
