AmeriCorps VISTA member receives funds from NCB

Amy Roades is an Americorps VISTA serving as a Community Resource Liaison at Turning Point Applied Learning Center (TPALC), which is a member of the Highland County Continuum of Care (HCCoC).

Roades is a community resource liaison for the HCCoC, which provides information on local resources available for "homeless, low-income and at-risk individuals and families in Highland County,

Turning Point thanks NCB for these grant funds, which will help Roades enhance her service project by printing and binding the most recent community resource directory for key stakeholders in the HCCoC and in the community.

These funds will also allow her to host a community resource fair which is being planned for the spring of 2015. All community residents will be invited to attend.
