The Highland County Firefighters Association (HCFFA) is again proud to announce the 2014 Kroger Klassic Car Show will be held on Saturday, July 26.
The show will be held at the Hobart Corporation parking lot located at 1495 North High Street in Hillsboro. Registration will begin at noon, with judging to begin at 1:30 p.m.
Trophies will be awarded at 4 p.m., once judging has been completed. Trophies will be awarded in many categories. Pre-registration (By July 24) is $8 and includes a free T-shirt. Registration on the day of show is $10 (and no T-shirt). Dash plaques will be given to the first 125 entries, and registrants will be entered into a door prize drawing.
Pokey’s DJ Service will provide music and sound systems. Food concessions will be available. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and silent auction.
HCFFA President Jay Post invites the community to participate by registering their cars for the event and welcomes everyone to come out to see the cars and support the association.
This is one of the primary fundraisers for the association so that they can provide training at no cost for all Highland County and member departments for both Fire and EMS continuing education programs.
"We would also like to thank the Hillsboro Kroger Store for their sponsorship, and to Hobart Corporation for providing the facilities for the show," Post said.
