Wee Care classes begin Sept. 10

Meri Grace Jackson was the winner of the gift card giveaway that was held during the Aug. 16 open house at Wee Care Christian Preschool.

Parents who are thinking about preschool for their child and were unable to attend the open house are encouraged to take a look at the school's program. The class room is set up to give structure to each child's day and to provide appropriate experiences for children.

The curriculum guides learning in literacy, math, science, social studies and the arts. Throughout the year, the classes discuss how God created the world and humans and that He loves people and sent Jesus to them.

The school is delighted to be able to offer a quality preschool to the community and a curriculum that will ensure that all of the children placed in the school's care learn the skills needed to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

Wee Care is located at 133 East Walnut St. and is a ministry of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church. The school accepts children ages 3-5 and is licensed by the state of Ohio.

The school is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. - noon, and the first day of school is Sept. 10. Wee Care is contracted through CDJFS; find out if you qualify for assistance. The school is currently accepting students for the 2012-13 school year.
