Southern State to host Healthcare Simulation Open House and Career Fair Sept. 18

In honor of Healthcare Simulation Week, Southern State will host an open house on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive in Hillsboro. This event is free and open to the community.
During the open house, visitors can experience live demonstrations where attendees can witness state-of-the-art simulation technology in action. Networking opportunities will also be available. Those who attend can connect with professionals in the field and explore partnerships that are advancing simulation practices across various healthcare settings.
Facilities and organizations planning to attend are Adams County Regional Medical Center, Adena Hospital, Ohio Living Cape May, Clinton Memorial Hospital, Crestwood Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Monarch Meadows Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Legacy Nursing Home, Highland District Hospital, Laurels of Hillsboro, Mercy Hospital, Washington Court House Manor, Ohio Means Jobs, Highland Health Providers, Meadow View Regional Hospital, Wilmington Nursing Rehabilitation Center, Ohio Veterans Home Georgetown and Wise Medical Staffing.
The open house will operate in a “come and go” type format. Attendees can move freely from station to station during the event.
