Shawnee State University offers Real Estate Pre-Licensing Courses
Shawnee State University will be offering real estate pre-licensing courses from September 11 through November 14.
Three 40-hour courses will be offered as part of the program, including Real Estate Principles and Practices, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Finance and Appraisal.
Real Estate Principles and Practices is the introduction of real estate economics and administration. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11 and ending Thursday, Oct. 11.
Real Estate Law and Appraisal includes the law of agency as applied to real estate brokers and salesmen, law of fixtures, estates, conveyancing of real estate, real estate managers, license laws of Ohio, zoning, cooperatives and condominiums. Real Estate Law classes will be on Tuesdays from Tuesday, Oct. 16 through Tuesday, Nov. 13. Appraisal begins Wednesday, Oct.17 through Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Real Estate Finance analyzes real estate finance, including lending policies in finance transactions in residential, commercial and special purpose properties. Classes are on Tuesdays from October 16 through November 27.
The registration fee for an individual course is $429. If participating in all three courses, registration is $999. The fees must be paid by Thursday, Sept. 6.
