Lisa A. Kisling Memorial Scholarship Awards announced

Outstanding youth are being recognized by the announcement of this year’s winners of the Lisa A. Kisling Memorial Scholarships. These scholarships were established to assist youth who have been active in Highland County 4-H, FFA, or Farm Bureau. Each winner will receive a $500 scholarship that will be awarded at the Junior Beef Show at this year’s Highland County Fair on Thursday, September 9.
Three outstanding individuals will receive scholarships this year. Rachel Clonch is the daughter of Steve and Karen Clonch of Lynchburg. Rachel is a senior at Lynchburg-Clay High School and will be attending Southern State Community College. Brad Keltner is the son of Wayne and Diane Keltner. Brad is a senior at Lynchburg-Clay High School and will be attending the University of Kentucky. Monica Palmer is the daughter of Ronald and Debbie Palmer of Hillsboro. Monica is a senior at Whiteoak High School and will be attending Morehead State University.
This is the fifth year for the Lisa A. Kisling Memorial Scholarship Program. Special thanks to the entire Kisling family for their tremendous support for youth in our community.
