Laurel Oaks honors Students of the Month for March
Four Laurel Oaks students were honored by their teachers and peers as Students of the Month for March 2012.
Academic:
Junior-Doughlena Irwin-Sports Rehabilitation-Clinton Massie
Mr. Anderson, Guidance counselor says… “Doughlena is hard working, and goes above and beyond in the classroom. She is very quiet and pleasant. She also has perfect attendance this year.”
Senior – Mysti Hixson-Health Technology-Blanchester
Scott Anderson, Guidance Counselor says…. “Mysti was one of only a handful of seniors with straight A’s during the 3rd quarter. She also has perfect attendance. She takes her education seriously and is a hard worker.”
These students were chosen for their good grades, excellent work in classes, leadership, attendance, and the support they showed their programs, the Laurel Oaks Campus, their home school, and their community.

Junior – Brooklyn Matson-Animal Science-WCH
Jason O”Neill, Social Studies Instructor says… “Brooklyn always gives me 100% in class. She is always doing everything to her utmost, and strives to continually improve and maintains a positive attitude.”
Senior –Klayton Maynard-Aviation Maintenance-Hillsboro
Scott Anderson, Guidance Counselor says…. “Klayton is quiet and easy going. He is hard working student that does what is expected of him. He is a model student.”
These students were chosen for their positive attitude character traits, working to their full potential, excellent behavior in class and on school grounds, work completed on time, tolerance and acceptance of others, good character, hard work, and honesty.
