Lanier awarded WC scholarship

Sardinia resident Caitlyn R. Lanier is the recipient of an $11,000 Wilmington College Academic Achievement Scholarship.

She plans to major in education.

Lanier, the daughter of Charles and Stephanie Lanier of Sardinia, is a 2010 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School.

Other types of scholarships and award amounts are available from Wilmington College, a career-oriented liberal arts institution affiliated with the Society of Friends (Quakers). It is located in southwestern Ohio, approximately one hour from Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. The Blue Ash branch campus serves a large number of non-traditional students.
