Eighteen members of the Fairfield FFA Chapter attended the 97th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind. on Oct. 23-26.

Members got the opportunity to tour Stuckey Farms and Orchards as well as Fleece Performance Engineering.

Throughout the trip, members attended general sessions focusing on the potential FFA members have to offer and the importance of the organization overall.

The highlight for the week was the honors bestowed upon the Fairfield FFA Chapter. Fairfield received top honors as a 3-Star Chapter. Members Adam Berwanger, Sydney Sanders and Landry Hattan received their American Degrees. American Degrees are awarded to the top one percent of FFA members across the country.

Fairfield FFA Alumni member Jimmy Craycraft received his honorary American FFA Degree in recognition for his dedication to the FFA and what it stands for.

As a chapter, we are extremely proud of our members, advisers and alumni.
