Derald Crago

Derald Crago, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2023 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro. 
 
He was born April 3, 1938 in Ross County, the son of the late Dwight Lloyd Crago and Eliza Gladys Reeves Crago.
 
Derald was a member of the Southwestern Ohio Farm Toy Collector Club and was a well known Allis Chalmers mechanic and collector. He was a graduate of Hillsboro High School Class of 1956 and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
 
Surviving are his granddaughter, Laura Engle; two brothers, Willie Crago and Donald (Judy) Crago; and several nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, Derald was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Ann Overstake Crago; and his daughter, Mary Ann Crago Engle.
 
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Mowrystown Cemetery with Pastor John Fitzgerald officiating. The Highland County Veterans Honor Guard will conduct full military honors. The Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown is serving the family.
 
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
