Deborah J. Quickle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah J. Quickle, who was born on May 23, 1952, in Hillsboro. Deborah left this world on Nov. 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering spirit. 

Deborah was a loving mother to her three sons, Terry (Melissa) Quickle, Kennith (Kimberly) Quickle and Kyle (Autumn) Quickle, who will carry her memory with them as they navigate life without her guidance.  
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Chelsey, Matthew, Kendra, Kennith, Dean, Baien, Jace, Sebastian and Brice; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Kelly Allen and Tina Shamberger; and half-brother, Bill Allen. The bonds of family were incredibly important to Deborah, and she took great pride in nurturing those relationships.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Maretta (Crabtree) Allen; husband, Jerry Dean Quickle; and sister, Sue Willison.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the funeral home.
