Dennis W. Orner

Dennis W. Orner, 81, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was born in Greenfield on Tuesday, October 27, 1942, a son of the late the Rev. Raymond G. and Geneva C. Griffith Orner.  

He is survived by his wife: Carol Cokonougher Orner, two sons: Zak Orner of Greenfield and Aaron (Cassie) Orner of Hamilton, Texas, one granddaughter: Maddie Orner, one sister: Denise Meredith of Greenfield, three brothers: Daryl (Karen) Orner of Greenville, David (Sharon) Orner of Miaimisburg and Dan (Robyn) Orner of Naples, Fla. 

Dennis was preceded in death by one son, Tyler Orner.  

Dennis was a graduate of Washington Senior High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene College. Dennis worked in commercial art and photography. 

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held. The Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield is serving the family. Those who wish to share a memory of Dennis and sign his online register may do so at www.ebrightfuneralhome.com.

Dennis, you are one of our favorite people because you have such a sweet spirit and loving demeanor. We have so many good memories of the times we spent with you and Carol. We will miss you but expect to see you again.
