Larry Dean Edwards
Larry Dean Edwards, 77, of Tipp City, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident in Dayton.
He was born July 17, 1946 in Greenfield, the son of Harland and Bessie (Cook) Edwards.
Larry was a 1964 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. He was a member of the Vandalia Masonic Lodge #742, where he was twice the Past Master Counselor; Valley of Dayton Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; and F.O.E. #971 in Troy.
He retired from Goodrich of Troy and then was employed part-time at Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Dayton International Airport.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Cooper) Edwards, whom he married Oct. 7, 1967; two daughters, April McKinney of Troy and Nyssa (Michael) Carpenter of Dayton; five grandchildren, Austin Price, Hunter (Seth) Clayton, Trever McKinney, Sydney Burrowes and Noah (Madyson) Burrowes; two great-grandchildren, Parker Clayton and Owen Burrowes; one sister, Judith (Raymond) Rittenhouse of WCH; and one brother, Bob (Linda) Edwards of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Staffen and Joy Cullingford; two brothers, Jerry Woodruff and Richard Edwards; and both parents.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, beginning with a Masonic service, then Pastor Mark Armstrong to officiate. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

My deepest sympathy for Larry's family. Larry and I worked together at Goodrich, was golf partners after work league. Larry was a great guy, always made ya smile. Very saddened to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

My friend Larry
Though he was mostly a quiet guy, he would make time to talk about some of the things he had going on. I saw April, his daughter, every so often. And I would ask about Hunter. I must not have asked for a bit and surprised about his next to come great grandbaby. I would have liked to play golf with him.
