Ernest E. Chaney

Ernest E. Chaney, 73, of Buford, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 at The Laurels in Blanchester. 
 
He was born March 20, 1950 in Chillicothe.
 
Ernest was a former employee of Bear Mechanical and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
 
Surviving are two sons, Gary (Maggie) Chaney and Ernest E. (Mary) Chaney Jr.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
 
According to his wishes, Mr. Chaney was cremated, and no services are scheduled.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is serving the family.

Ernie was a great person! One of the BEST! Always a smile for you and a listening ear. Truly a nice person, and one of my FAVORITES!
