The Fairfield cross-country program, in both middle school and high school, took home the top honors Wednesday by sweeping the 2017 McClain Opener cross-country meet at Mitchell Park in Greenfield.

The 2017 Whiteoak Wildcats cross-country season is set to begin, with the two teams having a total of 14 runners in the program. Those teams include 10 boys and four girls.

The Bright Local School District currently allows all military, either active or veteran, free admission to all home athletic events at Whiteoak Junior/Senior High School. Military personnel will need to show their military ID at the gate to be admitted free. Free admission will be offered regardless of where you live.
