The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs hosted the Vinton County Vikings on Wednesday (April 16), and they wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as a 10-run first inning led to LCHS winning by a 19-1 score in a five-inning non-conference contest.
Playing two games in two days, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs softball team earned a win at home Friday (April 11) against Fayetteville, then lost Saturday (April 12) in a non-conference game against Westfall.
On Friday (April 11), the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs defended their home baseball diamond in Southern Hills Athletic Conference play by defeating the Fayetteville Rockets 11-0 in five innings on a cold and windy day at LCHS.
The 2024-25 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Girls Bowler of the Year and Girls Bowling Coaches of the Year were honored at the SHAC winter sports banquet.
