Wildcats top Georgetown, 15-5
The Whiteoak Wildcats won on the road Wednesday evening, defeating the Georgetown G-Men, 15-5 in seven innings for a non-conference victory.
WHS (6-10) led 5-2 after the first inning, then built a four-run lead after two innings.
The G-Men scored one run in the third, but WHS responded with a three-run fourth and three more runs in the seventh.
GHS added one run in the fourth and one more in the seventh.
Tyler Williams led all WHS batters at 4-for-5 with three runs and four RBIs. Williams had a double and triple.

Jason Jones had a multi-hit game at 2-for-4 with one run and four RBIs. Spencer Michael went 2-for-2 with five runs and one RBI. Michael collected a double in one of his hits.
Justin Emery, Steven Meyers and Stephen Anderson each had one hit, with Emery having one double. Anderson scored two runs, and Meyers had one.
Williams was also the winning pitcher, earning his first win of the season. In 5.1 innings, he allowed four runs (one earned) on two hits and three walks. He finished with seven strikeouts.
"It was a monster day for Tyler (Williams) offensively and on the mound," WHS head coach Chris Veidt said. "He made some nice adjustments pitching-wise, and it's starting to pay dividends.
"Tyler is starting to heat up offensively, and with the guys in front of him (Emery, Michael and Wardlow), he will have some nice RBI opportunities down the stretch."
Anderson pitched 1.2 innings, allowing one run (unearned) on no hits.
