Wildcats fall to Green Devils

After one quarter, the Whiteoak Wildcats led the North Adams Green Devils in their non-conference meeting of the session. The following three quarters saw the Green Devils catch up, with WHS falling to NAHS, 47-34.
As for the Wildcats (1-14), they led 9-2 after the first quarter, but after a second frame of 16-9 in favor of NA, the host WHS squad and NA were tied at 18-18.
The Green Devils improve to 4-10 overall.
In the second half, WHS was outscored 29-16, with a 14-10 third frame and 15-6 fourth quarter.
WHS was led in scoring by Tyler Williams with 14 points, including one 3-pointer coming in the second quarter.

Nick Wardlow added six points for the Wildcats, while Brandon Ashbaugh, Jason Jones and Kyle Adams each scored four points. Kyle Marler rounded out the scoring with two points.
WHS finished 3-for-13 from the free-throw line. For NA, they were 18-of-21 from the charity stripe.
Leading the Green Devils in scoring was Isaiah Anderson with 16 points. He was 7-for-8 from the free-throw line. Devin Gardner followed with 10 points.
