Whiteoak Junior High places 1st at Greenfield

Last Tuesday, in Greenfield, the Whiteoak Junior High boys cross-country team finished in first-place by defeating Hillsboro, Washington Court House and Greenfield.

There were 29 runners in the field, with Whiteoak having seven of the top 13 placers in the event.

Ryan Roberts led the way with a third place finish at 12:40.

Zach DeAtley was fifth for Whiteoak at 12:53, and Evan Brill was sixth with a time of 12:56.

Atlee Carr placed ninth (13:11) and Ian Holmes was 10th (13:13).
