Whiteoak athletes honored in Fall Sports ceremony

On Thursday, November 12th, Whiteoak held the 2009 Fall Sports Awards. All of the cross country, golf, and volleyball athletes were recognized for their year of progress. The awards given out for cross country were: Most Improved, ­Leanna Lomske & Tyler Roberts; Top Runner Award,­ Felicia Stevens & Nick Eldridge. For golf, Joseph Michael took home three awards including: 3 Year award, Lowest Average, and Lowest Round. Other golf award recipients include: Blake Trueblood, as Most Consistent; and Luke Taggert, for Most Improved. The volleyball team had many awards to give out. Those including: Best Front Row Player ­ Brooke Burns and Jessica Caplinger; Best Back Row Player ­ Jessie Gilliland; Coaches Award ­ Desiree Green and Sarah Smith; MVP, Jessie Gilliland;  Most Points Scored, Jessie Gilliland; Dedicated to Whiteoak Volleyball, Brittany Tolliver; and Most Coachable, Lori Bratton. Congratulations to all of our Whiteoak athletes!
