Lynchburg-Clay golf team wins over Fairfield, Whiteoak

The Fairfield Lions hosted both the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs and Whiteoak Wildcats in Southern Hills Athletic Conference play on Tuesday night at the Buckeye Hills Country Club.

The boys from Lynchburg-Clay won the match with a 190 score.

Zach Blankenship was the medalist for the match with a 40.

The Lions were second in the match with a score of 194, as Brad Bumgarner led them with a 45. Whiteoak finished with a 216, and Aaron Watson led the Wildcats with a 48.

Fairfield boys and girls travel to Manchester Wednesday to take on North Adams.
