LC Mustangs 7th at cross-country districts

The Lynchburg-Clay boys cross-country team was seventh overall in the Division III, District II SE District race on Saturday.
 
In the event held at Rio Grande, the LC boys team was led by sophomore Brandon McCammon in 20th place overall with a time of 20:01.49.
 
As for other LC racers, junior Christian Inman was 34th at 21:06.28, and in 49th was sophomore Hunter Underwood at 22:11.79.

The remaining LC times were: freshmen Ben Bales (23:54.49), Corey Mullenix (24:03.12) and Brayant Constable (24:14.97); and senior Dakota Baker (24:18.85).
 
For Whiteoak, they had two runners in the race, with senior Cody Feck in 33rd at 21:02.89 and sophomore Zach Shannon at 21:38.67.
 
Eastern Brown was the winning team in the race.
