Lady 'Cats win 9-0 over Manchester

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats gained a Southern Hills Athletic Conference win on Monday, defeating the Manchester Lady Greyhounds, 9-0 at WHS.

The game saw Lady 'Cats junior pitcher Kiley Sosby pitch a one-hitter in the shutout win. Sosby, in seven innings, allowed no runs, no walks and struck out 16 batters.

WHS scored their runs with two in the third, three in the fourth, and four in the sixth for the nine total runs.

The Lady 'Cats totaled 10 hits with Alexis Jones and Jayde Parr each having three hits. Jones went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

Parr was 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

Gaining one hit each were Sosby and Caitlin Arledge, with Sosby having one run and one RBI, while Arledge totaled two RBIs and one run.

Jayce Parr and Hailey Nace each scored a run for WHS, and Morgan Thompson had an RBI.
