For the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats, the season didn't go as planned. They did gain a tournament win, but that run in the postseason came to an end on Thursday evening.

WHS currently has two wins, with a 2-19 overall record. In their first postseason game, WHS defeated Glenwood, 49-40 on Monday. They have a makeup game with Fairfield on Feb. 18.

For the Lady 'Cats, Sunnie Lehr led in scoing with 13 points. Emma Wardlow and Amber Gorman each finished with nine points.

Scoring two points each were Emily Stratton, Brittany Luman, Jayde Parr and Mikayla Risner.

Three seniors played their final postseason game for WHS in Gorman, Brittany Luman and Morgan Campbell.

Earlier this week head coach Mike Cooper said he's decided to resign from the position at the conclusion of the season.
