Hillsboro boys, girls track teams win Hillsboro Invitational

At the second annual Hillsboro Invitational held at the Hillsboro High School track, both the boys and girls teams were winners of the event, as they each defeated seven other schools.
In the girls event, the Lady Indians won with a score of 114, closely defeating the second-place Miami Trace team, who scored 113 points. In third place was Washington (100), followed by McClain in fourth place with 93.5 points. The fifth-place team was Eastern Brown with a score of 93, and in sixth place was Fairfield at 67 points. The final two spots went to Lynchburg-Clay in seventh place with 39.5, and eighth place was Whiteoak with a score 26 points.

The boys standings saw the Indians at the top of the leaderboard with a score of 180, while the Miami Trace Panthers were second at 174. In third was Washington (78), followed by McClain in fourth place at 70 points. The fifth-place spot went to Whiteoak (55.5), and in sixth place was Fairfield (43). The final three spots went to Eastern Brown in seventh place (30.5), Lynchburg-Clay in eighth place (43) and ninth place was Hillsboro (B) with four points.
