The Fairfield Middle School boys placed first at the Southern Hills League Meet Saturday, Oct. 13.
Wyatt Evans was the overall winner and first runner for Fairfield with a time of 10:58. Following Evans and earning All-League medals were Klay Walker, third, 11:23; Trent Evans, fourth, 11:36; Matthew Mangus, seventh, 11:57; Noah Richmond, ninth, 12:19; Mason Cain, 10th, 12:25.
The boys won with a low score of 24 points. In second was Manchester (62), and third was Eastern Brown (82). The remaining team finishers were Ripley (92), Whiteoak (137), Fayetteville (164) and Lynchburg-Clay (166).
Also running for Fairfield were Kadyn Lamb,12th; Tucker Ayres, 16th; Clayton Jacobs, 21st; Dustin Huff, 25th; Jason Moeller, 26th; Baylee Willey, 28th; Andrew Davis, 29th; Nick Price, 31st; Skyler Moon, 34th; Keith Thompson, 38th; Brayden Heizer, 50th; and Elijah Knisley, 59th.

Running for WMS were: Charley Skinner (23rd), Ian Holmes (30th), Michael Crowe (32nd), Zach Shannon (40th) and Dawson Eakins.
Running for LC were: Brandon McCammon (13th), Braden Bailey (47th), Corey Mullenix, Chad Fenner and Levi Mootz.

Seventh grader Grace Shope was the overall winner and first-place runner for Fairfield with a time of 12:23.
Following Shope and also winning All-League medals were Codi Haynes, who came in second with a time of 13:18, and Carly Arnold, eighth, with a time of 14:18. Also running for the middle school Lady Lions were Lauren Greene, 12th; Riley McKinley, 19th; Andrea Spears, 21st; Maggie Donahue, 24th; and Ali Powers, 26th.
For LC, their leading runner was Sam Pierson in 10th (14:37). Also running for LC were Carlee Smaltz, 14th; Emily Pinkerton, 15th; and Lexi Waits, 18th.
For Whiteoak, results included Maggie Carr in 13th at 14:54 and Kattie Taylor in 17th at 15:13.
