Whiteoak volleyball victorious against Fayetteville

Returning to the court on Wednesday night, the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats volleyball team gained a win in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference standings by defeating the Fayetteville Lady Rockets in five sets at FHS.

Whiteoak won set one at 25-20, while Fayetteville won the second set at 25-16. In set three, FHS won again at 25-23, but Whiteoak rallied to win the final two sets at 25-22 and 15-11.

WHS is now 6-1 in the SHAC and 8-2 overall.

Next for Whiteoak is a home SHAC match on Thursday, Sept. 14, as they will host the Fairfield Lady Lions with a JV start time of 5:30 p.m.

FHS enters the game at 5-0 in the SHAC Division II standings, in first place, while WHS is second in the Div. II SHAC standings at 6-1.
