Wanda J. Wolfe

Wanda J. Wolfe, 79, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2023 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery. 

She was born July 24, 1944 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Marie (Monamaker) Trusty. 

She had been a medical assistant for many years and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. 

She is survived by four children, Timothy (Kerstin) Wolfe of Mannheim, Germany, Michael (Susie) Wolfe of Dayton, Terry (Traci) Wolfe of Logan and Pamela Pointer of Wilmington; 11 grandchildren, Jane, Emily, Ashlyn, Miles, Stephan, Dustin, Jordan, Brianna, Noah, Elyssa and Natasha; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary Trusty of Arlington, Va.; as well as her beloved fur babies, Lily and Mandy. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Todd Pointer. 

A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 13, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
