First State Bank gave the Southern Hills Athletic Conference a gracious $4,500 donation to support the league website.

Representatives from First State Bank presented a $2,500 donation to Hillsboro High School athletics Friday, Sept. 13, during the Hillsboro varsity football game against Williamsburg.

Festival of the Bells committee president Tom Zile, vice president Tiffany McCoy and treasurer Jodi Murarescu accepted $3,500 contributions from First State Bank, Merchants National Bank and NCB Wednesday, June 5, as all three banks are sponsoring the entertainment stage for the 2024 Festival.

The poster child and poster adult for the 52nd annual Ernie Blankenship Radio-Telethon were introduced by representatives of the Highland County Society for Children and Adults Feb. 28 at the Hillsboro First State Bank branch, as First State is this year’s event sponsor and host.

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference is proud to announce our partnership with First State Bank. First State Bank will be donating $4,500 per year for the next five years to the SHAC.

First State Bank recently donated $2,000 to Grow! Highland County.

First State Bank celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their Hillsboro branch with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce on May 31, along with family, friends and members of the community.
