The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its honorees of nearly 2,886 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes over the past week as the 2023-24 winter sports are all approaching the final week of their season. 

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Oct. 2 that the NAIA Council of Presidents has approved five institutions for membership, effective July 1, 2024. All five schools received unanimous recommendations from the NAIA Membership Committee.

The resiliency of the Cumberlands Patriots softball team was on display once again this season. UC was down 1-0 in the seventh inning with two strikes on the batter twice before tying it up. The team then came through in the 10th inning to win 4-1, advancing them to the NAIA World Series for the first time in program history.
