City, county and state leaders, as well as tenants, investors and partners, gathered in uptown Hillsboro Monday afternoon for the official ribbon-cutting and opening of the Hillsboro Business Complex, an over $1 million development owned and financed by local entrepreneur Dale Martin with the support of a JobsOhio Vibrant Community grant.

Holmes Siding Contractors, Ltd., in collaboration with JobsOhio, the Ohio Department of Development, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE) and The Holmes County Economic Development Council (HCEDC), Monday announced a commitment to invest over $10 million and plans to invest over $13.2 million to construct a new facility in Holmes County, creating 60 new jobs. 

DPC Pipe Fabrication, a pipe fabricator in Meigs County, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), the Ohio Department of Development and the Meigs County Ohio Economic Development Office, Monday announced a commitment to invest over $1.9 million with plans to invest over $2.6 million to expand its operations in the East Meigs Industrial Park in Tuppers Plains, creating 45 new jobs.

In 2020, Advantage Tent Fittings, Inc. announced plans to expand their business in Chillicothe. With an investment of $80,000, the company modernized its manufacturing process with the purchase of a new state-of-the-art radio frequency vinyl sealing machine. 

EZG Manufacturing, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), and Morgan County Development, announced an investment of over $475,000 to renovate two buildings at Malta Industrial Park. The expansion will create 36 new jobs in Morgan County.
