On the final day of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Team USA’s Para powerlifters Bobby Body and Ashley Dyce both made their Paralympic debut, marking the first time in 24 years that the United States has had two athletes simultaneously competing in the sport during a Games.

In a display of grit and willpower, Team USA athletes stayed within reach of the lead group throughout an exhilarating men’s and women’s C4-5 road race. With riders pushing their limits, Team USA showcased their ability to hold their own against some of the sport’s finest competitors.

Paralympic champions Jeremy Campbell (Perryton, Texas) and David Blair (Eagle Mountain, Utah) went 1-3 in the men’s discus F64 competition to lead six Team USA medals, the second-highest single day tally for the U.S. in Paris thus far.

Team USA enjoyed its most successful day of Paris 2024, adding four more medals — three silver and one bronze — to the U.S. Paralympics Swimming medal count. Alexandra Truwit (Darien, Conn.) won her first Paralympic medal on Thursday, taking silver in the women’s 400-meter freestyle S10 at Paris La Defense Arena. Olivia Chambers (Little Rock, Ark.) and Colleen Young (St. Louis, Mo.) snagged two spots for Team USA on the women’s 100-meter breaststroke podium, winning silver and bronze medals respectively.

For the second day in a row, Team USA hit world record marks en route to Paralympic titles as track and field competition hit the halfway mark at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Two-time defending world champion Noelle Malkamaki (Decatur, Ill.) set the pace for the Americans, becoming the first female F46 shot putter to throw over 14 meters in a competition.

Opening day of the road course at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games was a true test of individual fortitude, endurance and power. As riders faced the solo battle against the clock, three Team USA women emerged victorious, each claiming gold in their respective events.

Six-time Paralympian Jessica Long (Baltimore, Md.) won her 30th Paralympic medal on Wednesday, scoring gold in the women’s 400-meter freestyle S8. Morgan Stickney (Cary, N.C.) and Christie Raleigh Crossley (Toms River, N.J.) each added silver medals in the women’s 100-meter freestyle S7 and 100-meter freestyle S9 respectively.

Team USA’s Noah Malone (Fishers, Ind.) had his Paris 2024 Paralympic Games men’s 100-meter T12 silver medal upgraded to gold Wednesday after Turkish athlete Serkan Yildrim’s results were disqualified.
