3 IRGC cyber actors indicted for alleged ‘hack-and-leak’ operation designed to influence the 2024 US presidential election

The Justice Department Friday announced the unsealing of an indictment charging Iranian nationals, and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) employees, Masoud Jalili, 36, also known as, مسعود جلیلی, Seyyed Ali Aghamiri, 34, also known as, سید علی آقامیری, and Yaser Balaghi, 37, also known as, یاسر بلاغی (the Conspirators), with an alleged conspiracy with others known and unknown to hack into accounts of current and former U.S. officials, members of the media, nongovernmental organizations and individuals associated with U.S. political campaigns.

Former defense contractor, wife indicted for allegedly evading US taxes on profits from selling jet fuel to US military

An indictment was unsealed recently charging Douglas Edelman, a former defense contractor, and Delphine Le Dain, his wife, with an alleged decades-long scheme to defraud the United States and evade taxes on more than $350 million in income Edelman made as a defense contractor during the United States’ post-9/11 military efforts in Afghanistan and the Middle East.

Attorney General Merrick B. Garland announces new Northeast Ohio Crime Gun Intelligence Center in Cleveland

Alongside state and local law enforcement partners in Cleveland, Attorney General Merrick B. Garland, Director Steven Dettelbach of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and U.S. Attorney Rebecca C. Lutzko for the Northern District of Ohio Tuesday announced the opening of a new Northeast Ohio Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) in Cleveland.
