Nearly 300 cyclists will take to the road for one, two or four days for the 18th Annual Pan Ohio Hope Ride from Cleveland to Cincinnati. The event’s goal is to raise $1 million to support the American Cancer Society (ACS) Joseph S. and Jeanette M. Silber Cleveland Hope Lodge.

On Tuesday, the American Cancer Society (ACS) proudly announced the launch of the VOICES of Black Women® study, the largest behavioral and environmental focused population study of cancer risk and outcomes in Black women in the United States. 

On Tuesday, May 7, cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and cyclists from across the state traveled to the Capitol to ride around the Statehouse and to meet with their elected officials during Cancer Action Day. They let lawmakers know that Ohio can and must do better to improve access to cancer care.

More than 5 million cases of skin cancer are estimated to be diagnosed each year in the United States, making it the most-commonly diagnosed cancer in the country. For Skin Cancer Awareness Month this May, the American Cancer Society (ACS) is shining a light on the fact that nearly all skin cancers can be treated effectively — if they are found early.


The 18th Annual American Cancer Society Pan Ohio Hope Ride, a fully supported bicycle tour of the State of Ohio, is thrilled to announce that a generous donor has issued a $100,000 Cleveland Hope Lodge Match Challenge to encourage supporters to give more in April in the fight to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
