University of Cincinnati football defensive tackle Jowon Briggs was selected on Saturday by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round (No. 243 overall) of the 2024 Draft.

Just one Ohio State University football player was chosen Friday evening in the second and third rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, being held near Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit. Michael Hall Jr. was taken in the second round, overall pick No. 54, by the Cleveland Browns.
