Kentucky Christian University has been accepted as a full member of the River States Conference after a vote of the RSC Council of Presidents. The Knights will become official members on July 1, 2025 and will join conference play in the 2025-26 academic year.

The River States Conference is pleased to announce the selection of Shawnee State University volleyball coach Devan Spriggs as the 2023-24 River States Conference Coach of Character. Spriggs is not only the first coach from Shawnee State to win the award in its nine-year existence, but also the first volleyball coach to do so.

The River States Conference will add its 18th championship sport next season with the inclusion of men’s volleyball.
