U.S. Attorney Rebecca C. Lutzko announced recently that Brandon O. Chambers, 41, of Lorain, was sentenced to 168 months (14 years) in prison by U.S. District Judge Solomon Oliver after a jury convicted Chambers of one count of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The 37th and final defendant charged as part of the case against members and associates of the Simon City Royals gang – a gang aligned with the Gangster Disciples – pleaded guilty recently to racketeering (RICO) conspiracy.
