An Ohio subsidiary of one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers allegedly could have prevented a 26-year-old employee in Franklin, Ohio from being fatally crushed in October 2023 if the company had provided proper machine guarding, according to a federal investigation. 

Gregory Johnson, 47, of Franklin, Ohio, was sentenced by United States District Court Chief Judge Holly A. Brady on his conviction for attempted child exploitation following a two-day jury trial, announced United States Attorney Clifford D. Johnson of the Northern District of Indiana.

Troopers from the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are currently investigating a fatal crash involving a Franklin Police Department K-9.
