As graduating seniors of McClain High School do every year, on the morning of graduation they return to their elementaries within the district for the parade of seniors. And those returning to Rainsboro also got to unearth a time capsule buried their fifth-grade year in the courtyard of the elementary school.
Recently in the reading classrooms of Rainsboro Elementary, children listened intently to stories of swimming holes and fishing spots and hiking the hollers during childhood summers in Kentucky.

There’s a lot going on throughout Greenfield’s school district, but it was Rainsboro Elementary that was highlighted at the Nov. 20 school board meeting, which was held at the school.
Rainsboro Elementary this year is inviting dads and other “dudes” in a child’s life to join their students once a month at the school for breakfast and activities.
