The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Committees conducted a quarterly joint committee videoconference Monday as they prepare for their respective championships, which begin this month and conclude with both national championships decided in early April. 

With tipoff of the 2024 NCAA Women's Final Four only 39 days away, the NCAA, Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, Mid-American Conference and ESPN announced details for events surrounding one of America's marquee sporting events. Highlights include two national semifinals and a national championship being decided, opportunities for game tickets, numerous free events and community initiatives.

At its annual fall meeting recently in Cleveland, the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Committee reviewed planning efforts for the upcoming season and the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship.

The NCAA announced the tournament format, broadcast partners, selection committee and criteria for the newly created 32-team Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament, which will be played for the first time in 2024.
