DPC Pipe Fabrication, a pipe fabricator in Meigs County, in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), the Ohio Department of Development and the Meigs County Ohio Economic Development Office, Monday announced a commitment to invest over $1.9 million with plans to invest over $2.6 million to expand its operations in the East Meigs Industrial Park in Tuppers Plains, creating 45 new jobs.

Three Athens County defendants were sentenced to prison late last year in a mail fraud case that victimized over 400 residents.

In 2021, River Roasters Coffee Company announced plans to expand its food and beverage business in Meigs County. With an investment of over $260,000, the company constructed a new building, purchased a commercial roaster and built a commercial kitchen for food production.
