St. Vincent de Paul Society holiday outreach schedule

The St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVdP) of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro announces some changes to its regular schedule of outreach sessions due to the upcoming holidays. Generally, they hold outreach in the evening on the fourth Wednesday of each month. However, this year in November and December those dates conflict with the night before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. 

Therefore, in November the outreach will be 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Parish Hall at 119 E. Walnut St. in Hillsboro. This is an opportunity to meet with SVdP volunteers to discuss needs for assistance. Please bring ID, proof of income, and copies of bill that you need help with. Please remember that SVdP can only provide assistance once in a 12-month period. 

In December the dates for the outreach sessions will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 and Wednesday Dec. 17 from 6-7:30 p.m. SVdP is a ministry of St. Mary Catholic Church.
